Edges heavily scuffed, and back edge of spine starting to split. Old convent label on spine and a few stamps inside. Pages browned and foxed with age, but text otherwise unmarked. Binding is a bit weak at the hinges, but tight enough for reading purposes. Two volumes in one; text is in French. This copy belonged to Archbishop John B. Purcell of Cincinnati (1800-1883), whose signature is on both title pages. Measures approx. 5.5" x 3.5. Fair .
