Published By George C Leighton, London, 1860. 638 pp, six [ of seven ] colour plates. The plates are The Bay of Naples, The Falls of Niagra, Returning From Christmas Drill, Snowballing Christmas Eve, and the folding frontispiece is The Burgomasters Desert. The contents says there should be a foldin, generally very good condition with some foxing to the colour plates, tear in top margin of frontispiece extending about half an inch to the plate, head and tail of spine rubbed, with three small tears to rear spine edge, original blindstamped green cloth with ornate gilt spine and gilt pattern on front, folio, Hardback.
