"A statement relating to Christ Church, Newgate Street, London, and St. Bartholomew's Hospital, drawn up, at the request of a Committee of the Parishioners appointed by the Vestry in reference to the Impropriate Tithe claimed by that Hospital by Michael Gibbs, M.A., Vicar." An analysis of the historic tithes paid in the parish following an approach to increase the tithes to 2s. 9d. in the pound, considerably higher that was collected previously.
