FRYER, John - Survey of the Several Farms in the Township of Kibblesworth in the Chapelry of Lamesley and County of Durham Belonging to the Right Honourable Lord Ravensworth.

1732. Small 4to. 10 ½ x 7 ½ inches. 6 double page and 3 full page maps of the estate and farms, each with accompanying notes regarding tenants, names and acreages of the various fields and plots. The maps are finely executed> the boundaries especially are defined in an uncommon and attractive style, the outline hand-colouring delicately rendered. John Fryer was from a family of map-makers, being responsible for one of the earliest maps of the County of Northumberland, being the first to place the county correctly as regards longitude. Their archive is held by Newcastle Libraries.
