"Issued as a souvenir of the second anniversary of the short stay of the leaders of the three Great Powers, our friends and allies, in Tehran. December 1943." The Allied leaders, Roosevelt, Stalin, and Churchill, were known as the "Big Three" because of the might of their nations (the USSR, the US and the UK) and their collaboration during World War II. They met together only twice during World War II, yet their shared decisions changed the course of history. The Tehran Conference held between November 28 and December 1, 1943. The main discussion regarded the opening of a second front in Western Europe. A separate protocol was about the three countries recognition in Iran's independence. But basically the conference was aimed to plan the final strategy for the war against Nazi Germany and its allies. Good +.
