Collation, [4],352,[24],[1],[4]pp, [8],395,[1],16pp index, engraved frontis, circa 70 full page plates, circa 100 text illustrations, some text illustrations virtually full page. No index of plates, but looks complete. Bound in period full blind stamped vellume, with raised bands, title in manuscript. Vellum dust marked, corners rubbed/worn, with some loss, hinge joints lightly worn/split, but boards very firmly attached. Generally a very nice binding. Internally, previous owners bookplate, occasional light browning. Pages and plates in good clean condition. A very nice copy, in period binding. Very Good.
