This , apparently , is the scrapbook maintained by Anna Selisky (Mrs. Curtis G. ) Shake as she served as 1922-23 president of the Vincennes, Indiana Fortnightly Club . In addition to the pasted in newspaper clippings of each meeting there are several interesting Items . A pasted in Souvenir Tourist Guide of Historic Vincennes which was edited by Mrs. Shake and published by the Vincennes Fortnightly Club along with a card of copyright registration duly impressed with the Library of Congress seal. An paper clip attached 1922/1923 Yearbook/Program for the Vincennes Fortnightly Club with names and marginalia through out this booklet. A carbon copy of what is probably a 1934 speech given by Mrs. Shake outlining the history of the Vincennes Fortnightly Club . A rear cover attached envelope contains several items of interest including a 1924 half page newspaper clipping promoting multiculturalism . The last pages of the scrapbook has clippings concerning the closing or change of status of Vincennes University ; 8vo.
