London, Architectural Press 1947 lxviii adverts etc, 32pp, many bw photos, some colour etc. 36x28, wraps. Spine a bit chipped, with some small loss, good thus. The cover and feature article are on the Victorian artist John Martin, at this point close to the lowest ebb of his popularity. The painting on the cover had sold in 1819 for 400 guineas, but by 1937 it changed hands for just two guineas. Values have recovered somewhat since!
