Black cloth gilt, minor rubbing, in badly chipped dj, internally fine. A highly critical and incisive biography of Thomas Edward Lawrence (1888-1935) casting light on some of the controversial and little known facts of his life and on the legends he and others such as Lowell Thomas spun about him. Richard Aldington (1892-1962) is a prolific British author with more than one hundred books to his name. A very interesting read.
