Printed grey wrappers, light soil, small almost unreadable round stamp of Lahore publisher, almost no wear and internally fine. An abstract of a manuscript in the Charles Schefer collection of the Bibliotheque Nationale by the distinguished early Persianist, Edward Granville Browne (1862-1925). The author of the manuscript was, Najmu'd-Din Abu Bakr Muhammad b. ali b. Sulayman..ar-Rawandi. It was composed about 1202-02 and is essentially a history of the Seljuqs from the beginning of their dynasty to the author's own time, (A.D.1027-1197). Rare copy printed by Stephen Austin, one of the first printers in England to have fonts of oriental scripts.
