Inserted slip at base of title page reads "This is one of five hundred and fifty copies of the first edition of this work which is now published by Messrs.G.T.Foulis & Co.(1926) Ltd. 91 Great Russell Street, London, W.C.1." Light bumping to head & tail of spine and slight rubbing to edges and extremities. Pages roughly cut. Slight tanning to free endpapers, and minor spot foxing to page edges. Dust-jacket is unclipped with small loss to head and tail of spine and corners. Light blemish marks to front cover with discolouring to spine. 352 pages including index and black & white illustrations. Very Good/Good.
