London, Macmillan. 1906, First Edition. Hard Cover, 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Red cloth with gilt lettering. Mottling to board edges, particularly on the front. Spine is slightly sunned with ink stain to the tail and creasing to the head. Light foxing to preliminary pages, head and fore edges and occasional margin. 564 pages including 10 illustrations protected by tissue guards. Tissue guard protecting illustration opposite page 12 is incomplete. Very Good/No Jacket.
