Cloth Hard Cover, 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall, Book, Each chapter is a letter written by a young Jewish girl, Adina, who is staying in Jerusalem with a Rabbi Amos, to her father in Egypt. Her accounts take place at the time of John the Baptizer and the new prophet Jesus, and her sights, and sounds as she experienced her life there. The book is in very good condition. Hinges are tight, pages are unmarked and have a faint age tan on the edges. The binding is light green cloth hard cover, and the front has a blind-stamped decorated design on the background, over which is a blind stamped cross, outlined in black and filled with gilt under a black filligree. Spine is a golden color with gilt title at the top. 520 pp. Very Good/No Jacket.
