Two copies of the French news magazine L'Illustration (Saturday October 27th and Saturday November 10th 1900) that cover events in the city. Six pages of coverage in the November 10th edition include a map of Peking on a scale of approximately 2 km. to the inch. Map size 16 by 12 cm. The October 27th edtion has a large cover photo and two more pages of engravings. Each edition 40 by 19 cm. 10/11/1900 edition 18 pp; 27/10/1900 24 pp. Text in French. There is also coverage of the 1900 Paris Exhibition etc. Good to Vg condition. Very Good.
