An almanac in French for the year of 1797 probably related to the Saxe-Gotha Almanac containing details of the royal families of Europe weather wine geography the power of Great Britain (20 pages on this!) population data weights measures currencies etc. along with an account of the principal events of 1795-96 beginning in July 1795. Approximately 200 pages. Size 10.5 by 6.5 cm. All edges gilt. In stiff red card covers which may not be original and with no details of publisher. Contents G to VG. Image available.
