A unique memoir written whilst the Prince was imprisoned under the Terror at the Fort St. Jean at Marseilles and never before translated into English. The second son of 'Philippe Egalite' he was the Duke of Orleans and brother of Louis Philippe, who in 1830 became King of the French. A1D. Very Good/Good.
