Very rare illustraed technical description of the two Rhine crossings on the Rheinische Eisenbahn railroad ; a bridge near Coblenz and a ferry on the Lower Rhine near Duisburg. All the plates are finely steel-engraved. Especially the plates on the railroad ferry near Duisburg offer a remarkable view of early railroad engineering in Germany ; a complete train of 6 wagons on a steam driven cable ferry. .
