SECOND WORLD WAR NAZI PROPAGANDA HANDBILL: - V: Duitschland wint voor Europa op Alle Fronten. [Original propaganda flyer[].

S.I., s.n., s.d. [..], 1941. Aoriginal A-5 sized paper flyer [180x135mm.]. 5 lines of bold capital monochrome type dominated by a large almost full-page orange coloured letter V for Victory in centre., plagiarized by german nazi propaganda campaign after the original promoted by the BBC, fequently used by Winston Churchill, Britain's Prime Minister at War. Very fine and well preserved copy of this nazi p;ropaganda flyer. The V Sign is a hand gesture in which the index and and middle fingers are raised and parted, while the other fingers are clenched. It has been used to represent, amongst other things, the letter V as in Victory, especially used by Allied troops in the Second World War. It was popularized in January 1941 by Victor de Laveleye, a Belgian politician in exile, who suggested it as a symbol of unity in a radio speech and the subsequent V for Victory in the campaign by the BBC.
