Hftitle (verso with frontispiece). 51pp. of text in english and chinese (not romanized) and 12 fine coloured plates tipped-in, frontispiece (portrait), many monochrome photogravure plates, some facsim. reproductions after archivalia, double-spread illustrated and coloured map of the Kingdom of China, being a facsim. after an authentic map, 1626, 4 fine coloured facsim. plates featuring old Hong Kong loosely inserted in envelope inside lower outer couver with legenda printed on outer cover of envelope, full-page plan of Hong Kong with legenda at tail, list of plates, acknowledgements, table of contents. A lovely illustrated publication supplying extensive information on the british territory of Hong Kong, old and modern. One colour plate in envelope lacking, not unusual however as these extra plates were subject to framing, as recommended in text. Privately published. Nice copy.
