In its original paper envelope, coloured frontside with text and portrs. of Paul van Vliet and Willem van Otterloo, verso with an interior illustration of the new concert-hall with explanatory text, another smaller illustration and a portr. with explanatory text to the record printed on facing page, back with printed text being names of sponsoring dutch companies and an explanation to the work of the Society of Friends of the Residentie-Orchestra. With the original [4]pp. flyer loosely added, explaining to competitors what to do to win a prize, name-list of Jury-members, a.o. Godfried Bomans, incl. the original response- and enrollment form, completely unused. An original 33 rpm. limp vinyl record, issued under the label Vereniging Vrienden van het Residentie-Orkest, Association of Friends of the Residency-Orchestra. on which the conductor Willem van Otterloo is interviewed by Paul (Pepijn) Van Vliet, a famous dutch cabaret artist, and the contest offered to competing individuals, trying to establish the right sequence of concise fragments from composers played as M. Ravel, A. Diepenbrock, J.S. Bach, J. Brahms, L. van Beethoven and G. Mahler. The second task for competitors is to produce a prize-winning slogan. Complete and in excellent condition.
