Manual to the geography of dutch colonial Indonesia, printed and published by the [Amsterdam] Society Maatschappij tot Nut van 't Algemeen. In his preface, the general Secretary to Society, P.M.G. van Hees, informs the reader on the printing history and the compilation of this handbook. It is revealed that the intended history of the colony, that was to be included, could not be produced as author did not feel up to this task. An interesting geographical description. Very good and clean copy. (map called for is missing however).
