Arkady, 1981., Foreword by Jerzy Majewski, President of City of Warsaw A book of photographs of the Warsaw, b./w. photographs from the past during the dreadful war years 1939-44, then the rebuilding of this once great city during the 50's, 60's & 70's... "Chronicle of Reconstruction, Building & Expansion 1945-1979." The 112 colour photographs by Jablonski are of the city in the 1970's, rebuilt, & rising up once again & looking new, but sadly many of the old beautiful buildings are gone forever. Pages aren't numbered, but the 304 b.& w. photographs, illustrations & maps are numbered. Near fine, no marks or inscription. D./w. is worn on corners with 1½" tear on back top, o./w. very good. 9.75" x 8". 1981

Books are posted only after payment is received. Please say if you prefer insured post. Postage in UK is by 1st class, overseas is by surface unless airmail is requested. I post to most places in the world.

I aim to please! I describe every fault, tiny tear & blemish in a book, because I would like the customer to be pleased & content with their purchase. Some have been surprised that their book is actually better than they thought it would be! I scan most books, & if requested can send more. If a customer finds a book ordered from me is not as described, then within 14 days he can return it for a full refund, but only if I consider its in the same condition as when I posted it. He must have proof of posting, & should also notify me first.
