New York, New Yok, Parke-Bernet Galleries, 1944. Soft Cover, Very Good/, Nice clean auction brochure. Dark orange/rust wraps over heavy cream pages. Illustrated with black and white photographs. 36 pages and 142 lots. Collection was owned by painter Sarkis Katchadourian who also was a book illustrator. This colelction was to have gone to the Musee Guimet, Paris, but transfer could not be made due to the outbreak of WWII. Katchadourian died three years after the sale at the age of 61.
