Philadelphia, Louis H. Everts, 1879. Leather, 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall, Good to Very Good/No DJ, Very attractive two volume set. Leather shows some wear to extremities, but is nonetheless quite attractive with bright gilt to face and spine. Page edges gilded on three sides and edges of boards are beveled. Tightly bound with no cracking to hinges. Pages very clean with the exception of mild foxing to first few pages of each, especially visible on tissue gaurd at front illustration. Nice color map and numerous illustrations throughout. Pages double columned. 1111 collectively.
