Large folio hardback, over 21 inches tall, in black buckram stamped in gilt with an American Flag pastedown on cover. The volume reproduces the entire output of this newspaper during World War I and the period thereafter while American troops remained in Europe. The paper quality is considerably better than the original newsprint. Covers are lightly rubbed. Inside, there are a couple of short edge tears, and the front hinge staples are exposed. However the binding is otherwise completely sound. This was the beginning of a publication that continues to this day as it started: produced by and for the Armed Forces. Very good+.
