With rubber stamp to the front wrapper of the Berlin psychoanalyst Carl Muller-Braunschweig (1881-1958). Originally trained as a philosopher, M-B took up the study of psychoanalysis in 1909. His training analysts were Karl Abraham and Hanns Sachs. He refounded the Berlin Psychoanalytical Institute in 1950. In his 1959 IJP obit Gustav Scheunert called him "the saviour of psycho-analysis in Germany" [Vol. 40, p. 246]. Binding: PB.
