New York, The Railway Age gazette`. 1911, Third Edition Revised. Hardback, Octavo. The opriginal work was published in 1873. this is a revised and enlarged third edition. An extremely detailed text on the workings of the locomotive accompanied by many line drawings and some photos in b.w. There are six pull out plates at the end of the book and some double page inserts within the text. pp644 The spine is worn at the top and base, and there are splash marks on it which have removed some of its colour. There are some signs of handling but the book is in generally very good condition.
