Some sporadic light browning and spotted, top edge of several leaves sl. waterstained, upper hinge tender but firm, without lower f.e.p., 2 faint circular ink stamps to verso of frontis., original dec. gilt lettered brown & black marbled cloth with gilt armorial device to upper boards, some very minor soiling and rubbing, corners bumped, sl. bubbling to cloth on lower board, a.e.red occasionally intruding very sl. onto inner margins.
