Contemporary full calf, spine gilt with red title label, small repair to spine ends. Binding rubbed. An interesting work dealing with Portugese trade tariffs for comodities imported from India, China, and other parts of the world. First published in 1744 and here enlarged with additional tariff rates established in 1775 and 1776 respectively (pp. 4 + 12). The different duties on commodities are listed alphabetically and includes tariffs for silk, drugs, tobacco, coffee, sugar, fruits, spices, glass, gold, carpets, clothing, leather, copper, etc. One manuscript page inserted at end with a list of more tariffs of commodities, dated 1799. Not in Borba de Moraes or Innocêncio.
