. Pp. (viii), 343. Uncut copy in contemporary wrappers, spine chipped. First edition but a German translation was published a few months before this French original (in 1759). Baron de Fabrice (1683-1759) accompanied Charles xii of Sweden during his exile in Turkey, at Bender near the Black Sea in Moldavia, during the years 1710-14.
