First edition of this German - Japanese dictionary which gives the Kanji (Chinese) character together with the Katakana sound followed by the German and English translation together with the Japanese synonym. Pzifmaier (1808-1887) was a prolific translator of Japanese works into German. Only this first part was published (ending with Ittan and Ittai resp.) due to limited commercial success.
