Old ownership signature on front endpaper. Translated from the original English edition (London 1866) by F. Kielhorn adn G. Oppert. Friedrich Max Müller (1823-1900), renowned German philologist who studied Sanskrit under Bopp. He lived and worked at Oxford for many years.
