Comprised of five "books" with individual pagination, of 24 plates called for the frontis and four other illustrations are missing, octavo format, a later binding in patterned linen boards in three-quarters leather, with spine titles and decoration in gilt. A firmly bound book with lightly worn covers. The text is lacking pp. 111-118 of Book V. Soiling and foxing throughout much of the text, dampstaining to the lower inside portion of the latter part of the text, but still readable. A useable reading copy. Fair.
