Bears label of Associated American Artists, NY. ¶ Luigi Lucioni created some of the most appealing images of Vermont in his oils and watercolors, and was named �painter lauriate� of Vermont by Life magazine. His etched images are sophisticated and complex executions consisting of multiple acid baths and micro tonal layering of textures and images. In 1932, Lucioni became the youngest person to have a painting purchased by the Metropolitan Museum of Art
