Sadorus was the great-grandson of the first European settler in Champaign County (Illinois) and he. took about 350 glass plate negatives of his family, their farming activities, the changing seasons & the countryside. Frank was unknown, his photos & negatives forgotten in an attic for almost 2 generations. They present a fascinating picture of life on an Illinois farm in the early 20th century & the unusual artistic vision of the photographer.
