King George II - 1740. Supply, etc. Act 1740 c. 23. An act for granting to his Majesty the sum of 1 million out of the sinking fund, for the service of the year 1740; and for enabling his Majesty to raise the further sum of £200,000 out of the growing produce of the said fund; for granting his Majesty the sum of £21,000, one shilling, and eight pence halfpenny, remaining in the receipt of his Majesy's Exchequer, arisen by sale of the lands in the island of St. Christopher's; and for the further appropriating supplies granted in this session of Parliament.
