Originally published between 1805 and 1814, these soft-ground etchings were not published until Bohn included them in his five-part collection of Cotman's etchings in 1838. (see Gordon Ray; The Ilustrator and the Book in England from 1790 to 1914). Three-quarters morocco. Leather heavily rubbed and boards with many marks / grubby. Some small fraying to top and bottom of spine. Much foxing, some plates heavy but others much cleaner.
