ALFRED E. BISSELL. - Further Notes on the Pursuit of Salar. {Inscribed and Signed}.

Wilmington, Delaware. Privately published. 1972. Large 8vo. (8 x 6). 46 pp. Limited Edition. This book is one of either 50 or 100 copies published, though a final determination is unclear, according to folks who know about this book's publication history (Charles Thacher & PBA). Inscribed and signed on the verso of the frontispiece by Charles L. Reese, Mr. Bissell's collaborator on the book. The inscription is a presentation to Mr. Reese's daughter and her husband, who also happened to be a salmon fisherman. Several black and white photos showing the authors, their wives and guests, scenic shots, plus several nice Atlantic salmon. The account of this trip includes fishing at Camp Harmony in New Brunswick, salmon fishing in Norway, and an interesting yet aborted fishing trip to Novokuznetsk in western Siberia. Also includes a chapter on duck hunting at Woodmont Rod and Gun Club in Berkeley Springs. The book is bound in its original black cloth spine with gilt titles and brown cloth with gilt titles. Map end papers. A nice book and quite scarce. In fine condition.
