Boston: Nichols and Hall, 1847. Hard Cover. 1847 printing. Square volume with hinges and binding very tight and sound. Pages are just slightly tanned (off-white more so than brown) and foxed. Single book plate on fixed front end paper identifies this as having belonged to the New Haven Library Association. No ex-library stamps or markings, however. Brown cloth over boards is edge worn at spine extremities with bumped and worn corners, light scuffing, some fading. Spine is sunned but gilt lettering is visible and still fairly bright. Book is very slightly bowed. Mid-19th century novel.; 7.00" (18 cm) Tall. Good with no dust jacket .
