This is a beautiful coloured copper engraving map which shows the Gulf of Saint Lawrence as well as the adjacent areas. Gulf of Saint Lawrence (French: golfe du Saint-Laurent), the world's largest estuary, is the outlet of North America's Great Lakes via the Saint Lawrence River into the Atlantic Ocean. The map is decorated with a title cartouche. / Size of leaf appr.: 24,8 x 39,5 cm / Size of map appr.: 22 x 36,3 cm / CONDITION: The map is in good condition, multi folded, a few minimal wormholes in the upper part of the fold, marginal brownish at the edge.
