Gappon, bound three vols in one, in original covers and printed title label, string-bound, Japanese-style, fukuro toji. 17.6 X 25.9 cm. Well-printed b+w woodcut images interpreted by Suzuki RinshÅ� 鈴æoe¨é„°æ�¾ after designs by the estimable ItchÅ�, all of whose books are posthumous. In a light and quick style. This is a pleasant early impression. The copy at Ryerson 329 was published by Yamashiroya Sahei. Our copy, though it shares the same date of publication, was published by Mankyûdô [Hanabusa Heikichi], a relatively obscure firm in Edo, active at the beginning of the 19th century.
