Later printing, contains all fifty of the poems included in the first edition. 64pp. Small 4to. pictorial glazed paper covered boards backed in blue cloth. Front and rear boards: title and author, printed in red and black on a green ground; surrounded by a procession of children printed in beige and shaded with pale pink on a brown ground; border is printed in green. A very good copy that shows light rubbing at the boards and spine ends, slight wear at the corners. Tear with loss of lower corner at ffep. and prelims. not affecting text. Internally clean and bright. Binding slightly shaken. (The title-page is clearly imprinted by Warne & Co.; however, internally this copy agrees with Schuster and Engen 201.1b). .
