There are two holes along the left edge of the book by which the book was once bound with a cotton cord. The cord now lacking, the covers and pages are now loose. The covers are soiled & stained with creases along the edges and corners and part of the location "field, Conn" stamped in black. There are a few small horizontal tears to the spine and a small piece chipped out from the bottom edge of the rear cover. [48] unnumbered pages, profusely illustrated in black & white throughout, including depictions of the "Bailey Avenue Stables", "Col. Hiram K. Scott", "Main Street, Ridgefield", a full page ad for a drawing of a "Fine Bred Scotch Collie" puppy, "an Ideal Country Home", etc. There is dampstaining to the bottom inner corner of the first few pages with some foxing to those pages, and a small piece chipped from the bottom edge of the last few pages. USA - Domestic shipping via media mail within the USA is $3.75 for the first book and $2.00 for each additional book or item. Priority mail shipping is $15.10 for the first book and $5.00 for each additional book or item.
INTERNATIONAL – When possible we will ship your item in a Flat Rate Priority Mail Envelope for $32.95 USD. Other items will be shipped via International First Class Mail for a parcel weighing 3 lbs or less is $34.50 USD. Items requiring insurance as well as larger and heavier books and multi-volume sets may cost more. We will contact you for your approval when additional shipping is required.
