The covers are detached, the corners are bumped & the leather is darkened & heavily rubbed. 911 pages. Illustrated with B&W facsimiles & 2 folding color plates. There is scattered light staining & soiling, a few page corners are lightly creased & the page edges are slightly darkened; there are pencil markings to 1 page; there is a tear to 1 fold of each plate. A scarce and invaluable reference work, fully annotated, and well worth rebinding.
