The dust jacket is chipped with its spine & extremities darkened & with tears to & pieces out of the top edge, affecting the titling. [vii] & 93 pages with an errata slip bound in. There is a small stain to the front pastedown & some very light staining to the front endpaper. The fore- edge is foxed with occasional light foxing to the front edges of the leaves. Very good in a good dust wrapper.

Clemence Dane is the pseudonym of Winifred Ashton. Signed by the author as Clemence Dane on the half-title. Also initialed by her, "WA", on the dust wrapper. Very good .
