The edges of the covers are slightly darkened and mildly foxed and the corners are lightly bumped. 32 pages, with a pictorial title page and 15 full-page black & white plates by Donna Sloan with limericks by Mal Whyte on the facing page. Co- founder of the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco, the author, editor, and publisher Malcolm Whyte produced nearly 200 books. He founded the Troubador Press in 1959 as a job printer and released his first published book "The Fat Cat Coloring & Limerick Book", also illustrated by Donna Sloan, in 1967. By 1970, Troubador became a full-time book publisher, producing educational books, cookbooks, and art books, working with Edward Gorey on "Gorey Games" and "Gorey Cats Paper Dolls" among others as well as work on "Dungeons & Dragons". Having sold his Troubador Press, Whyte founded World Play Publications and published signed, limited illustrated books, including Edward Gorey's bibliography "Goreyography" and works by undergound cartoonist Crumb.
