Very good. - Octavo, light grayish-blue paper covered boards backed by a white vellum spine, titled in gilt on the spine with a device in gilt on the front cover. The top edge is gilt. The spine is lightly spotted with slight darkening to the head and tail. 303 & [2] pages, illustrated with 4 plates. There is some minor foxing to the endpapers & pastedowns. Very good.

Limited edition of 700 numbered copies. Volume VIII of the Publications of the Naval History Society. Very good .
