This edition of the children's classic with numerous unattributed black & white illustrations. --- In full blue cloth-covered boards with decorations and titling in pink and red to cover; in blind to spine. Text presented on quality, laid paper leaves. Volume bears 1900 date but possibly published c.1900-1930. Volume lacks a dust jacket. --- Evidence of prior ownership by a private or public library confined to serial number and sticker removal evidence to spine. Also with torn-out front free endpaper, mildly rounded cover corners and a couple of dark spots to textblock top edge; otherwise volume is bright and well-preserved.; Ex-Library; 12mo - 7 to 7-1/2 in. tall; (8), 9-295 pages.
