An August, 1950 reprint "on new plates and engravings," following the 139th printing of July 1949. --- In Shepard-illustrated cloth-covered boards with titling in dark blue. Volume lacks a dust jacket. --- Loosened front and rear hinges have been carefully repaired on this item, with child's bookplate pasted to front free endpaper, some wear to cover edges and with child's inkings to p.41, otherwise a complete, intact copy.; 12mo - 7 to 7-1/2 in. tall; xi, [3], 178 pages.
