This work first published in 1866. Translated from the French by Isabel F. Hapgood. With woodcut illustrations by Tranquillo Marangoni and an introduction by Matthew Josephson. Sandglass leaflet not present. --- In green cloth-covered boards with illustration and titling in darker green to cover, spine titling in silver on green block. Slipcase covered in silver paper. --- With quite noticeably sunned spine and a few specks of soiling to textblock edges, else a tightly-bound, unmarked, sound copy. Slipcase with some rubbing, small tears and a few scratches but remains structurally sound.
